Wk9run3 done .... graduated!

Yes.......................... Done it!! It's taken 5 months but finally today I did it - GRADUATED!!! I cannot believe how things have changed since week 1. I really enjoy running now and although it took longer than 9 weeks to get to the end there was good reasons for that. The biggest hurdle for me has been the mental issues ..... little gremlins always join me on a run telling me I won't get to the end. So most runs have been a battle between me and the gremlins ... but I won. Never did know when to give up!! Looking forward to running regularly now and reaching 5k with good times.

  • Congratulations on graduating and beating those gremlins! I still have those gremlins grumbling every time I force my body out for a trot, but you can beat them down with logic :-) Looking forward to hearing about your postgraduate runs.

  • Thanks to everyone who posted a comment about my graduation! It's great to know so many people are rooting for you. Have been out 3 times since but am struggling to make time this week. Thought it would be easy but have found you still have to push really hard to get through it. On the plus - did an aerobics class with ease on Monday - so something is improving!
