One more run of week 2 to go. It was very windy up on the fell today, and it was quite hard to breathe as the cold wind whips your breath away. Other than that it was fine and dandy. I even cheated a bit by carrying on running into the 5 minute cool down walk, just to see how long I could go for. I got up to 3 1/2 minutes running before I started huffing and puffing. I could have probably gone on for another minute or so, only I knew that if I stopped where I did it would leave me still with 5 minutes walk to get back to the car. I wanted to make sure I did the full cool down period.
Hopefully, the fact that I can mangage that bodes well for next week. Also I have just taken delivery of a funky pink buff, so I'm hoping that will help with the cold and wind. Still cant do the 1-2-3-4 breathing yet, I still only get up to 3. Hopefully that will come though. Feeling good!
