Ouch, that hurt!!

Buoyed on by graduating and completing my first official 5K run, decided that I'd have a go at one of the C25K+ podcasts, so went for stepping stones. What a mistake :( Put far too much pressure on my knees trying to keep to the beat, my speed was all over the place and all in all it was a very painful experience, one that I won't be repeating any time soon. Here's hoping that Stamina and Speed are better for my frame of mind :p

I'm curious how you will do with the other two. I tried stepping stones last week and was huffing and puffing, it kept me moving plus I am still humoring my knee. Some people seem to find it slow...not in my case. :-) good job on getting out there and running!!!! :-)

Same here eshaz14. I really did not enjoy the run and found myself all over the place with it. I don't think I will be trying that one again, though a friend who graduated some time back says she is trying and getting on ok with it. So, who knows. In the meantime it's more Week 9 and improving the pace and distance.

I heard a couple of other similar comments on here, but there were positive comments about the other podcasts. I did speed yesterday and it was good (the podcast, not the drug!). It wasn't TOO fast, either and it's a shorter session, so good for those days when you want/need to run but are pushed for time ;-)

I couldn't get on with stepping stones either. Nor speed. I used the Stamina one for a while and liked it, I got the idea of bpm etc and used that to make my own playlist with the same idea, slower bpm at the beginning, faster in the middle, Paradise City right at the end!

Oooh, I like your ending. Going to check out stamina for a while I think and build that up :)
