So annoyed with myself

So I got too 6 weeks in June and then gave up.... i found the heatwave impossible to run in.

I now want to start again but I have no idea where to start??!! Will I have to go write back to the beginning?

Did you all run in the heatwave?

How's your general fitness feeling? Maybe start a few weeks in and see how you get on?

Despite what the news said there wasn't a heatwave in much of the UK so yes I carried on running 😁😁

Have a go at W5? If it feels okay, carry on. If not maybe dodge back to W4?

Or else just go for a run and see how long you can go for and pick up an appropriate week from here.

I had a few weeks off with assorted non-heatwave niggles and went through the programme 1 run from each week. 8 runs and 16 days, but I'm back in the game again.

It won't take you long :-)

I started in the heatwave... not ideal.

So you’ve missed 6 weeks or so... you won’t have lost much... just go run and see how long you can go for... I’d be surprised if you weren’t at or near 20 minutes.

You may find W5 is too much for starting again.

Try W4 - you can always skip ahead to W5 if you find W4 is OK.

I’d start at W4 or, most likely. W5 and see how it felt.

I started the programme in mid June and didn’t enjoy the heat. I was also away for W7 and most of W8 and Bavaria was baking too! I dealt with it by running by 6.30am. I’m loving these cooler temps! 👍🏻
