I followed the physio's advice and iced my knee often, and did the stretching exercises. I was told to ease back into running, starting with no more than 10 mins. I started back running on Tuesday, which went OK, although both knees twinged a little after.

Then Wednesday I accompanied my daughter on a week 1 run, I placed myself behind her for each run and ran at her pace (seemed slow) and was surprised how quickly each minute run went. Back in July I was gasping at the end of each minute. So that was 8 minutes running.

This afternoon I decided to run for 15 minutes, I put my phone in my pocket after my 5 minute warm up, so I had no idea of time while I was running, so I just ran. I stopped when I thought I'd covered a good distance, and when I checked the time I'd run for 20 minutes(3.06k in 20.01 mins)

My leg feels fine, and I'm so glad to be back running. I think I'll aim for a 25 minute run on Sunday
