Anyone found audiofuel pyramid 180 tough?! I graduated c25k at the beginning of October, ticked off stepping stone, speed and stamina. Really enjoyed speed interval training so tonight tried the 20min pyramid.180 bpm for like 2mins and couldn't quite make the beat right til the end.recovery time felt quite short too!!was shattered at the end!!! Suppose it will get easier with time though?!
How hard have you found audiofuel 180 pyramid ... - Couch to 5K
How hard have you found audiofuel 180 pyramid interval training?
It will get easier Lainybops - just keep with it. No more than once a week though as intervals are hard on the body. Give it a couple of months alternating intervals with some hill work or pace work and you will definitely find that you will be going for the next one up!

thanks carolec I think this is the challenge i needed though as so far I've worked through c25k and c25k+ without much problem so maybe this is a good way to push myself! Never thought I would be able to sprint this time last year though!!
Hi,Did you purchase the pyramid training from Audiofuel?
Thank you!!
Phew I bought this last night and tried it today. Wow its hard I did the first 30 and 45 second runs barely made the 3rd. The 2 mins. Not. A. Hope. In. Hell! I dont think I've ever breathed so hard or gasped for air in my life. I certainly got some funny looks off walkers. I guess just stick with it and it will get easier each week!
Haha I know what you mean about the huffing and puffing!! It's actually the Power Up interval training I got but it is pyramid training with 180bpm as top whack. My legs are still aching a week later...not sure when I will try it again!!!
Yes I bought the power up one as well. I was going to get the pyramid 180 but it looked like the tracks were the same as the other mp3s. I noticed they repeat the songs a lot in the other mixes. However i like the rock vibe to these ones. I've recovered pretty well from it now but it certainly makes you realise there's different kinds of fitness to this running lark. It's certainly made it more interesting to throw in one of these sessions a week rather than doing the same route and distance over and over again!
