I left work early today to try and beat the dark but didnt expect to have to be running for the train due to miscalculating the time and then for the bus at the other end - not so easy with a heavy bag, jacket, everyday clothes and boots on! Recovery time was good though considering it was over 3/4 of a mile to the station....I had a few aches in my thighs by the time I got in but I was determind to go out and my gear was all laid out on the bed ready for me so no shying away from it!
So, straight in and straight out again and I decided to do some laps round the park, hoping I wouldnt get bored with it especially on a 28 min run. Well, far from it - it went surprisingly very well and despite quite heavy breathing I managed to keep going for 5 laps and when I checked it was 31 mins....Yowza Baby!! It was, and still is, a brilliant feeling as this is the longest I have ever run without stopping - EVER - and I am over the moon!! I got that extra push from somewhere and it was most welcome!!
Lets hope R2 proves just as good....

I know vixiej! If I had stopped though it would have been so hard to go out plus I was racing against it getting dark which I dont like running it........
Thanks for the encouragement and I hope your grad week is going well. Not long now!!
