Hi, jroydie. Welcome to C25k! First of all, have you downloaded the podcasts?
You'll need a pair of trainers - they don't have to cost a fortune, I got mine from Sports Direct in the sale for £39.99 although I know many on this site have had their gait analysed to get a pair that really suits them.
You'll also need a sports bra. Other than that you'd get away with a pair of trackies and a tee shirt along with a thin fleecy if you are running outside. Aldi and Lidl have some good stuff in at a reasonable price if you want wicking tee shirts and proper running stuff.
You'll also need: a sense of humour, patience and determination!
However, the thing that'll help you most is the support and inspiration from your fellow runners on this fantastic forum!

Thanks oona, have ran before but it has been a couple of years. Sorry what I meant to say was how do I start to download to help with my running.
I have all the gear and proper trainers as well.
I went out today for the first time , not sure how far but I walked (fast) and ran a bit as well, I did 20 minutes all together.
Must get myself a new ipod and a podometer as well.

From what others have said, the podcasts seem to have disappeared from iTunes in the past day or two, but you can download the mp3 files individually.
