Welcome jolly_di. The sooner you get started, the sooner you'll begin to enjoy it. I never thought I'd say that five weeks ago. I'm on week 6 and I can run for 20 minutes non stop but I struggled to run for 1 minute when I started. It's not easy but it feels great when you complete each week. Good luck!!!

yep welcome aboard - beginning of some fun and getting fit. A whole minutes running at the start several times over seemed a lot to do and amazingly, like welshwoman above, i can now run for 20 mins - and yes i'm hooked - and I feel lots healthier!

It took me ages before i started blogging - so good you have started here

Welcome and well done! You've certainly done the right thing in joining the online C25K community, everyone here is so positive and encouraging. It's certainly making a big difference to my life, I just feel so good starting out (and finishing!!!) the runs... the bits in between can be a struggle for couch potatoes like me but I love the buzz you get from it all. Hope you really enjoy it, keep blogging!
