I got the podcasts from the NHS site and (somehow!) put them into my itunes library. Amazing to think my urge to start this programme meant I somehow worked out to do something very technical to a numpty like me!

Ooo I've just been having trouble with this. I have just been looking for weeks 1-5 to restart training but pushing a buggy. I found a whole raft of Couch to 5k stuff on iTunes though, and am just confused as to which I should be using. I am sure there was only 9 weeks of podcasts last time I downloaded them... I'm going to try what *Deryn* says.

I've just had a look on the NHS website, you can download the weeks individually to your desktop from there (techy numpty here too I'm afraid).

The link to download all weeks direct from iTunes doesn't seem to work though. I had a proper look on the iTunes website and it appears that (after searching for NHS Couch to 5K- rather than just Couch25k) the first nine weeks have disappeared in favour of the continuation plan aimed at graduates.

Hopefully someone with a bit more know-how will be along soon and say that I'm wrong and provide a link!!

(I managed to find all the weeks I downloaded a few months ago hiding on my shuffle.)

Deryn61 - or anyone else!- please can you say how to get the podcast from the desktop to iTunes? using the Edit dropdown then 'Add file to library' doesn't seem to do anything

Hi all - figured out! Download the week you need from the nhs website - the mp3 will then be on your desktop. Then, go to itunes, and File>Add to Library. The download will appear in your Music Library under artist NHS Choices, it doesn' appear in the podcasts section!

I tried that, runningnewbie, but it didn't work for me. I'm due to start Wk3 on Thursday...this is not funny:( I am not amused.

Weird - I just had a look on itunes, and all the weeks are still there as normal (then again, could this be because I've downloaded them previously?)

Nope, I can't find the C25K on itunes podcasts anymore either, only the continuation programme, C25K+. I have tried downloading them from the website onto my laptop then adding them to my library as suggested above, but that doesn't work either. I am now Laura less and not best pleased!!!

I'm starting week 6 tomorrow, and gave the same issue. I've downloaded them to my desktop, and have tried to add them to my iTunes library. They're in the lust there, but greyed out, won't copy to my phone and won't play. Looks like I'll have to dig out my old mp4 player and hope it has enough life left in it to manage...!

I've got it working now. i download from the website on to my laptop, click on the zipped file so i get an unzipped file and save that somewhere. Then go to iTunes on the laptop and do 'Add file to library' and pick up the file. That gets it into 'My Music' in the iTunes library. To get it on my iPhone i have to sync the two - easiest way is to connect the two using the wire used for charging the phone (without the mains plug, of course). Watch out, though, as downloading, picking up the file, and synching all take a little while, and when i first did it i thought it wasn't working when actually i was just being impatient - if you look carefully there'll be something somewhere that shows it's gradually working.

In fact i didn't have to connect iPhone and laptop physically today, because the two synch automatically over our house's wifi network. But that relies on having the right settings somewhere, and i'm not sure where as it wasn't me that set it up. you might have to find a more techie person to do that for you, as i did...

They seem to be fixed now - in a panic due to seeing this I went to my iTunes and am downloading all of the podcasts
