I tried the 35 minute Couch to 5 K follow on podcast “Stamina” for first time this morning, it was good....I just chugged along, seems like it’s a good way to build up some strength. The matching one is “Speed”, little intervals. They’re both still for beginners I think so they’re just right for me )not too pressured 😳😂!!) Anyone else doing these? How do you find them?
Happy Sunday running to all C25K buddies 🏃🏻♀️

I haven’t actually done this yet but I think it might help! Where abouts do you get them? I searched the podcast thingy in my phone and something different came up so don’t think that’s it 🙄😂
If you search “C25K follow on podcasts” in your browser, they’ll both come up and you can click on them. I haven’t succeeded in downloading them into my podcast app so I have to start from the beginning every time. (probably user error on my part but I haven’t worked out how to fix that. Oh well, it’s a chance for me to learn to be more patient 😁!). Let us know how you get on.
By the way if you get a chance to track down the mini treasure that is the 1981 book “Miss Piggy’s guide to life”, you may enjoy it......my copy’s a much treasured gift that’s travelled with me since I was a kid 😁
The music is appalling and put me off starting to use the app for ages. In the end, I just decided to grit my teeth and put up with it on the basis that running and getting fitter was worth it. It’s still rotten music though 😁😁. Let me know whether you decide to go with being guided by musical good taste or getting a bit of extra running support from the podcast -both good choices, totally so totally no judgement 👏👏
I’ve previously used the stepping stones one - you do eventually get used to the music, but found my pace was all over the place at first and actually slowed when I was supposed to be increasing cadence - not sure if that’s just me
Ah! It’s not just you Crittermad (great name by the way 😊). I fear I’m probably only spot on the correct beat when Laura is counting it out loud for me “1..2..3..4” 😁
with the music. I've downloaded the Nike running app. There's some great coaching tips - although he does talk a bit too much for my liking, and I can play my own music. I don't use it every time though.
Yup, Nike Run Club. It's American and he talks too much, but apart from that, Coach Bennett has some great advice. Its worth checking in every so often for the tips and to remind yourself about posture etc. I quite like it.
