... But still struggling. For the last few weeks my legs have felt very heavy as soon as I start but have just kept going. Did the first 30 minute run of the week an a treadmill at the gym and for the first time in weeks really felt my calves the next day. Went out on my normal route this morning and it was my thighs I felt more. I'm hoping that soon I'll find it easier. Starting to do some different exercises at the gym and may have a go at Pilates soon.
Anyway, can't believe I've made it this far and hopefully at the weekend I will be joining all the other graduates.

Even if your legs felt heavy you have kept going, and that takes some willpower and stamina!!!! Well done and remember you can feel so proud of yourself when you think that 9 weeks ago to run for 60 seconds was a struggle. It will get easier. Enjoy your graduation run, we'll be looking for your graduation blog. ( I have to say even up to my grad run I was scared I wouldn't make it). But have faith, you can and will do it!
Thank you. Yes, it's true, only 8 weeks ago since I was struggling with 60 second runs so I suppose it's a massive improvement in such a short time. I will work on speed, well a little faster anyway, and stamina afterwards.
I am also the same, I worry at the start of each run about not being able to make it, it always seems so daunting, so I make sure to start slow and build up gradually. I think I will be quite nervous when I go for my graduation run tomorrow.
Good luck to you too! We've done 2 30 minute runs so should manage this last one. I will be doing mine sometime over the weekend. Enjoy yours tomorrow. Green badges here we come!
Thanks. Been promised a celebratory lunch when I finish. Will no doubt need something to wash it down with Probably put the weight I've lost back on but will run it off again.
