Well what a difference a day makes - weather lovely this morning as I ran by the estuary looking across to Southport as I ran along the sea wall.
Well I planned to start a Bridge to 10K plan this week and today was the first run. Thanks to "notbad" for the Samantha Murphy recommendation and been looking at plans online but finally made a decision.
Well really enjoyed the change in music, I'm normally a dance music runner (just love the beat) but really enjoyed the change of music even though at first I thougt I'm not going to like this!!
I was also worried about returning to intervals, but I liked it and it's only a minute.
All in all a really enjoyable start.
One last thing, having done the steppng stones podcast the other day I am really feeling my calves and knees ache, so am going to have to add a couple of extra rest days to rest my legs, don't want to be out of action - Note to self let see if you manage to do the right thing and rest up
