omg, I thing my calves were going to explode 13 mins into the twenty mins.......I virtually crawled the last bit, does anyone else think this was a rather big leap between W5r2-r3?????? Glad I didn't give in, although I imagine I will pay for it tomorrow!
I struggled with W5R3!!! Anyone else!!! - Couch to 5K

I think everyone finds the dreaded W5R3 a real challange - I know i did, but you've done it - congratulations! It is a huge jump but a really important one - you now know that your body can do it - so everything from here on is about mental attitude. Well done!

Wot thepadre said - It's a foretaste of things to come and proves to you that you can do it. Cos however difficult it felt, you did it...and if you can do that at W5 then you can do 30 mins at W9. Simples!

Hi, well done on completing that run. Just think, you are past half way and well on the road to completing the whole program.
I think week 5 run 3 is pretty tough, a big step up. But now you can look forward to the first two runs of week 6 which offers some nice recovery sessions before building to the 25 minute runs that will become the norm for you in later weeks. it was between week 5 and 6 that I learned that recovery runs are an essential part of long term running program, so enjoy week 6.
Keep it going and complete the program, then I would recommend a t-shirt to reward yourself and a commitment to continue the running perhaps by registering for you local parkrun.
Well done, and keep going!

Great advice given! So far, every run has been challenging to me in one way or another. Congrats on nailing w5r3! Now you KNOW your body is ready! Welcome to wk 6!!!!

Just done it this morning and yes it was hard but aren't we fantastic to have done it. Give yourself lots of praise. You did it. Think the suggested treat of a new shirt is a great one. I'm still running in old t-shirts so I'll take that advice. Go for it . We deserve it.
