I found c25k by chance and am so glad that I did. It took me a few days to find the courage to start, but have just completed my first 3 wk1 runs. The first 2 were really hard, but today was easier and now I am looking forward to next week. Fingers crossed i can keep committed and finish what I have started

I'm loving it too and like you found it by accident. Started doing it to aid weight loss after I found out about it from blogs on the Weight Watchers site. Well done on your Wk1 success!

Well done you!!! I'm only on week2 but totally relate to you when you say how hard it is to get the courage to go and do the 1st run. It took me about a month and I felt so self concious! I've figured out if I run early morning I don't get to see many people so that helps!! Good luck for next week. Keep up your hard work!

Well done!!!

Im doing w2r3 on Monday and can't wait to go out and do it. its hard in the beginning, I was really embarrassed being out of breath and red like a lobster. But now I really don't care coz I enjoy it so much, its proper me time.

keep it up!!!! :-)

I too have just finished week 1 and I am looking forward to starting week 2 tomorrow, I just need a new pair of trainers as my toes are really hurting and I have started to get a pain in my left buttock, not good, but I will not be defeated!!

Enjoy it x I started it after reading my friends blogs on weight watchers but I found wk2 painful. Looking back I had left too many rest days between running run3 of wk1 and starting run1 wk2 , also I took advice from a member on here and went and got a gait analysis done. Just been out this morning started at wk1 run1 again and feel fab. The trainers were so worth the money, apparently you need a size bigger than you normally take, I felt like I was running on air today :-)

I have completed quite a few 5k runs over the years, but then got really lazy about running., resulting in not running for 6 months or more. The weight has slowly crept back on so I decided this week that i should start from scratch again and really commit to running a whole 5k and hopefully move on to longer runs. I need to keep healthy as I am a diabetic (type 2)

So I am really feeling committed , after my first run this morning . I had forgotten how much I enjoy being outside. The app. really helps me :-) Watch this space then!!
