It is over a week since I was able to do anything with difference meetings and things I have had. I got to wk2 run2. Now my dilema is: do I go back and start wk1 or start wk2 again.

A week is not that long, maybe try another week 2 run and see how you feel.
How did you feel with week 1? Ready for the next week or dreading it?! As for the beetroot look....I only run in the dark because of this!!
I agree with the others. If you made week 1doing okay, just try another week 2 run. Best of luck to you!!!!!
I'm with BettyJane try W2 again, as for the beetroot, I am the same along with sweaty, curly, frizz bomb hair! I'm thinking who cares, hubby loves me what ever and teenage daughter loves to take the mick, but I am loving it even when it's hard work. I want to finish this (even if not in the 9 weeks) Go for it
I garee with the others. I too am a mature woman and determined to keep going despite the red face and very sweaty head - look as if i've just washed my hair by the time I've finished. But he ho better a red face than a sick heart. Keep going
I saw your post and thought I am in the same position.
I was on week 2 this week but got tied up in things and so have only managed 1
Run . I did do some other excercise just not running.
But actually it was probably more the embarasement factor that put me off going out at lunchtime Rather than the running. I just don't like everyone at work see my red face etc etc.
But I think we will just have to build a bridge and get over it as they say.
Most people are very encouraging and those that o snigger well they are probably not worth worrying about . When we are able to run the 30minutes just think who will be laughing then.
