My arm's in plaster due to broken wrist. my first question was, can I run? Answer: no way. Apparently running involves arm movemnet and I need to keep wrist perfectly still for a month, not to mention side-effects of sweaty arms. I suppose I can ansewr this myself. Do as your told and back to week one in october, right?

As you have put on your blog post that you are aiming to keep your fitness level up as much as you can I don't think you will have to go back to week one. Depending on how you are feeling maybe week 5 might be a good tester as it is broken into tasty chunks!! If you find W5R1 tough then you will get an idea of where you should start from, but I think you will do just great!!

so sorry to hear of your injury. Get well soon :) I bet you won't have to go back to week one and if you walk as soon as you are out of pain and try to keep your pace brisk that will go a long way towards maintaining stamina.

So sorry to see this has happened to you. Keep your chin up and when you feel up to it try an exercise bike or something - at least that will keep the leg muscles in trim. Keep posting as well - let us know how you're doing.
