I've been in a right old grump. I was finally starting to get myself up and moving and almost looking forward to the c25k when I fell and fractured my elbow, wrist and 'possibly somewhere else 'as I have a stray piece of bone floating around in my arm. Any hoo, moving is painful. BUT I've rung a gym that's is walking distance and asked if they have a reclining exercise bike I can use. They have, so I'm going to shuffle over there this afternoon and see if I can use their bike. Where theres a will theres a way as they say. Just hope I can use it without it hurting🤔
Broken arm cant do c25k: I've been in a right... - Couch to 5K
Broken arm cant do c25k
Oh heck and damnation! 😤. I’m so sorry to hear a crimp has been put on your running plans so soon 🤨
Good that you found something else to be doing at the gym to keep you ticking overwhile you recuperate. Enjoy yourself 💪👍😃
I hope all goes well with your arm etc and your recovery goes to plan Be sure to eat really healthily to promote good healing Can you get out and walk. We need plenty of daylight too 😃
Thanks, feeling really fed up about it tbh. But such is life. Walking quickly hurts 😱 slow bimbling is tolerable. All a bit pants ☹
Take it easy Phoenix. Pain would make anyone feel a tad grumpy, l know it does me!! Take it easy on that reclining exercise bike ( that just makes me wince thinking of getting on it) Look after yourself & heal well. Your runs will be waiting 👍🏻
They might not allow you to use the equipment with a broken arm, at least without a medical note so be prepared for disappointment. Might be worth speaking to your medic anyway about exercise with a newly broken arm; it may not seem like it now but the most important thing is to let your arm heal properly, so drink plenty of milk and just take it slow - the road will be there waiting when you're ready.
Do what you can and hopefully it heals well... you’ll soon be back.
