I admit it I have a huge mental block about Wk5 R3. My last run was near ruined due to the thought of it. I had to really kick myself after the 1st 5mins to remind myself I've already run that amount. The thought of 20mins non stop running is making my knees knock. Tomorrow feels scary enough with it's 8min runs.
Can I do it? Can I really do it?

You CAN totally do it! Enjoy each achievement and when you get to that run, start slowly and give yourself plenty of time, don't rush it, allow yourself to achieve it and you will be so pleased with yourself. Slow and steady wins the race - it's about stamina not speed. Good luck
I know exactly how you feel, I'm doing the second one on Tuesday, struggling to get my head round it though as 5minutes is hard enough! Let me know how you get on and good luck!!!!!! X
I was so scared of this run, but as long as you've recently done the other runs you are totally ready and able to do it. As many people have said before me, it's more a mental thing than a physical challenge. Have faith and go for it!
I did it!! And so will you. And whats more it was fab, such an exhilarating feeling running for that long. It was amazing running along with Laura telling me how fantastic i am; and how proud she is of me ;~)
And if you don't make it, you will just do some repeats until youre ready; dont worri!
I was scared too. In fact I went out to do the run with complete failure in my mind. I was so surprised when I did it. And soooo elated! You will be too. You are ready to do it and just need to go nice and steady like Cattery said, you can always speed up if you want to. Think about your breathing, don't panic and keep thinking of us all cheering you on. Have faith in the plan, and Laura will be so pleased with you too. Strange how much that means, when she's a voice on the podcast! There were times I kept going just not to let Laura down!!! Let us know how it goes.
