I did the Stepping Stone run for the first time today after graduating a few weeks ago.I didn't find the beat easy to follow so tried to keep counting in my head.I actually thought I was probably running a little faster than the recommended pace. However when the 30 minutes was complete I had only ran 4.2 km.So disappointed!! I thought I was running a lot faster than normal.I then had no music left to complete my 5km which took me 35 minutes. This plan did however reduce my last running time by 1 minute. There is a hill I have to run up twice on my circular route.Wondering if I should try a flatter route to compare with? Will I ever manage the 5km in 30 mins?
