Please don't let me drop out again...

A few months ago, I almost got to the end of week 3 and then had to stop. I ran on the Monday and Wednesday, then had a sniffle on the Thursday night. By Friday morning, I was sneezing uncontrollably and felt like I'd been hit by a bus. I ended up taking a long walk, but was in no fit state to run. I recovered slowly, but had to give up C25K because it set off my gut issues and only came back to it last month.

This week was my second attempt at week 3 after working myself back up through week 1 and 2. I ran on Monday and Wednesday, so I'm up to the same point I failed at last time.

Right on cue, I started to get ill last night. This time, it was nausea and stomach cramps. I haven't been sick, but that's probably because I still have a stash of anti-nausea drugs from the last time my gut decided to act up.

It's not food-poisoning, because my wife isn't ill from eating the same things. It shouldn't bee a food reaction because I'm on an exclusion diet and haven't eaten anything from the banned list. In fact, I've eaten nothing I haven't eaten half a dozen times before.

There's no way I can run in this condition when I can barely drink water for fear of bringing it back up, but I'm hoping to run tomorrow. Failing at the same run yet again would be too cruel...

sorry to hear you are feeling so poorly, perhaps your body is telling you its not quite ready for week 3 yet, how about repeat weeks 1 and 2 and see how you feel then, I know its says in 9 weeks but you do it at the pace your body allows, i'm only on week 1 done 2 runs so far but i know i am no where near ready for week 2 so will be doing week 1 again next week and then if i can do all 3 runs without stopping half way thru the 60 seconds ill think about going to week 2

good luck

Well, considering I've finished week 3 runs 1 and 2 before and have finished them both this week too, I doubt it's that. I have never (yet) had to stop any run half-way.

It's probably just a coincidence that I got ill on the exact same day, but it is a fairly annoying one.
