Running buddy and I met up to do w7r1 on Friday - both feeling tired and unusually grumpy for various busy week/family life reasons! Definitely felt we weren't 'in the zone' but we went anyway.
It was hard at times, both of us had heavy legs, but we kept going (and kept each other going) till the 25 minutes were up.
It's at this stage in the game that Laura talks about it feeling harder to do the blocks of 25 minutes where previously we've been 'rewarded' after longer runs with a run in between that has shorter intervals. This definitely felt the case, but it could have been down to the fact we (unusually) weren't really feeling like it to start with.
Very glad we did it - speaking for myself, my mood was much improved post-run, and my family probably all the better for me taking it out of the house for half an hour!
