Yep! I think I read somewhere on the site tonight that the site is updating/changing and having more options etc soon.

Congratulations! 10k - thats amazing. At my RFL I watched the 10kers going off for their extra section and wondered how on earth they had the energy. You are one of those!! Good luck with your preparations for RFL and the half marathon (yikes!) :)

Yes I really am! Confidence has really grown this year, especially after the 10k race. This site has been a huge help to get me out of my comfort zone with running.

I have started it but to be honest the first week is easy with 30 minutes easy then tempo then speed and even the long run is 3 miles! Actually this is quite lucky because i have had a bad back since the 10k race.

You are certainly going for it! Nothing to stop you now.

All this talk of 10ks, half marathons has got me thinking that I might think about a race later in the year...10k (I'm not mad enough yet for anything longer!). I'll see how I go with my first race next week and take it from there. :) :)

Wow, what an inspiration. Well done and enjoy! :)

Thank you so much everyone for responding and for your very encourging words! Today I suffered with the heat, but having the half marathon ahead of me meant that I DID the run, there's no opting out, even at this stage.
