... my PE teacher was right, exercise really is good for you. W6R2 today, attempt number two but at least I have now done it *smiles*. I was out all day today & on the way home I just thought, I'm going to do it. Got home & quickly changed into my running gear before I could change my mind. It was lovely fresh weather and I took a new route which did necessitate a run up a hill which even walking up seems like a form of torture. Got to the top, took a deep breath & carried on - result!! The run was slow but I wanted to pace myself and persevere rather than run too fast and burn out. I started the run with a pounding headache and mother nature was, rather kindly, making herself felt with period pains - run over and headache gone thanks to the fresh air and cramps all gone too. My PE teacher really was right!! Exercise does help. Leg didn't hurt today though but I got a blister, it never rains but it pours eh? Well it does in England at least!! Lol! W6R3 tomorrow, it's all serious from here *worries*

Worry not. It is such a clever programme and seems to prepare us really well. Hills are tortuous but they definitely make us stronger. Good luck for tomorrow and keep the slow pace for stamina. :)

No worries, mate! You're doing great! (lol...I'm a poet)

I'm a little concerned about running on that blister...make sure it's not still "up", you may burst it, and that's never a good thing...

Sounds like you are having a fine time with your running. You're right...it does seem to sort a body out.

Enjoy!
