W8R2...finally....sometimes you just have to take the bull by the horns....

I broke over and had a long talk with the "knee I'm not speaking to" last night. Earlier in the day I realized the soft pattering sound I was hearing was tiny suitcases being set down...the fat globules were moving back in.

And not only that. I have an "event" scheduled on the 4th of July.which I desperately want to be able to finish on my feet-running....or at least some semblance of running.

"Ok, knee, here's the deal. You don't make too much fuss tomorrow, and I won't ask you to do anything else strenuous the rest of the day. OK? I've got goals to accomplish, and your whinging about your 'work load' is counterproductive."

I'll be the one here in the comfy chair, with my knee propped up on a nice, fluffy pillow, ice pack in place.

Well done for completing that run you are probably best having a few days rest now to allow it time to get over today we dont want it walking out entirely.

I am sure you will be ok for the run next week.

Lol! The way you wrote this made me laugh but on a more serious note hope your knee behaves itself.

Yes, just tell it off Grammadog, in your strictest voice...hopefully it will behave!

Well done on the run - not long now!
