woo hoo ok so its not like climbing everest or anything, and yes it's only 60 second intervals but I did it . Even on the days when my lazy butt was trying to talk myself out of it and give me a thousand excuses not to go, I still went so yes I am proud of myself.
I know that there are a few first week people on here how are you getting on ?

I'm a week 6 person, but I well remember week 1 and wondering if I'd ever make it through a minute of running alive, so WELL DONE YOU, especially for making yourself do it when you didn't feel like it! Keep going, you'll be amazed at what you can do even in a couple of weeks.
i know what you mean, Although I am more concerned with the thoughts " can i actually keep running for another 30 seconds?" i guess i shall find out on monday hey ?
I found week 1 the hardest of all so far so be very proud of yourself. I just kept thinking it will never be this hard again and so far (currently on w6) this thought has proved to be correct. Well done.
Well done, Ladybugw! I finished the first week yesterday. Found the 1st run to be the hardest, the 2nd run was the fastest and the 3rd run my pace was slower than the other two, but it was the least painful at least! Week 2 starts Monday for me.
It should be Tuesday for me but have a bit of a confusing week so may have to move it to Monday. Looking forward to proving that i can run for more than 60seconds though not looking forward to how much my legs are going to hurt. I have promised myself that if i make it through week four then Im going to get my new trainers gait measured and everything
You are doing great...but you are wrong on one count...it is EXACTLY like climbing Everest! Be PROUD of yourself...you're already to base camp 1...and you WILL make it all the way to the top!
Finished week 1 today - my next run will be Tuesday ... was thinking might do week 1 again but I am going to go for it and try week 2 ... we can do this!!
