Does anyone know where or if I can get cooled wrist bands from. Not sure if they exist, I'm thinking of a gel filled thing that you can freeze

Don't know, sorry.

Interesting question though - I read recently that runners tend to perform better in a race if holding a chilled bottle of water.

Ooh ice cold socks would be nice at the 5k mark. I think we've found a niche in the market ;)

I thought of these whilst running and getting far too hot (weather plus age related flushes!!) - wondered if I'd invented something or whether they already exist.

I want some!

I know you can get toweling wrist bands ..their usual use is to mop a sweaty brow. Spose you could soak them in water ..poss put in fridge over night to seriously chill. You could probably improvise something with a bit of old towel and elastic a la hair scrunchy.

Those cool strips you buy for your forehead when you have a headache would probably do the trick? Maybe you'd need a sweatband to hold it in place though :/

Not what you're looking for?
