Finished Week 1 and Feeling Good!

Since my last post I have finished Week 1 Run 2 and have just been out and done Run 3. Really buzzing as I actually enjoyed myself today. Ran at dusk and my legs did not feel like lead on the last run which was nice. Ready for Week 2 material which I will start on Thursday. Really great community on here and I am recommending C to 5K to all my friends.

Congratulations! Feels good when you achieve the first week! And that feeling gets better the more you do even if your legs hurt : - )

Well done glad you enjoyed it. I too will be doing W2R1 on Thursday and hopefully be able to report back that it was good. I have just started running outside and am finding it difficult, but with all the encouragement on this site I hope to be able to complete the programme.

I have never run in my life and am finding it easier with each run. Almost feel deprived on the rest days! Just about to finish week 2 after repeating week 1 until I felt a bit more confident. Managed to keep running past 3 ex-pupils at the weekend who are now all teenagers and even managed to say hello! There is lots of hope. I really believe if I can do it anyone can!
