Finished week 7run2, went fine although the second half was much more difficult. Recovered quite quickly, or so I thought. A couple a hours later I was so tired I had to have a nap - really!

Nothing wrong with that. I sleep like a baby on the days I run. Sounds like your body just needed a catch-up!

Same here...nothing like getting the blood roiled up to put me fast asleep (later)! LOL
Enjoy that well deserved nap!

Oh I am glad you have said that I thought it was just me I am absolutely shattered when I have done a run so much so that peeling an orange nearly wiped me out.

I'm glad its not just me! I found that although I love running and get such a buzz from it - I was also doing the same thing after longer runs! I would get home, stretch and eat and then just near enough pass out on the sofa for an hour! I think its best just to go with it as its your bodies way off coping and if you haven't got to rush off anywhere afterwards then thats great! I have been running longer for a few weeks now and its only now that I can stay awake afterwards so I think once you have done it a few times your body just gets used to it
