My brother is short and he buys Nike stuff, he had some cheap karrimor leggings but they swamped him. Im 5ft 4 and they're too long for me but I can turn them under and still wear them. His top half is average size so hes ok with sleeves etc
I'm 5'2" and I just run in non sportswear! H&M do cheap black shorts that are fine and then I just run in whatever Tshirt I can find. When it's cold I wear tights under the shorts and a cycling jacket over the Tshirt. I don't bother with proper sportswear stuff just yet, partly for that very reason. Bought some leggings which were supposed to finish above the knee but they were mid-calf on me... not flattering. So I just stick to cheap n cheerful highstreet stuff... you're only going to sweat on it after all!
Try SportsDirect.com or if you have a shop near you better still. I'm 5'1" and bought Addidas jogging leggings 3/4 and I have a full length with ankle zip both are perfect. Karrimor tops are also fine on me and I have short arms. The Karrimor Hi Viz jacket was a real bargain for the colder weather at just £12.00. They also do short sleeved tops in their Muddie Fox range really for cyclists but its the same stlye as the jogging stuff and very hard wearing too.
If you have problems for socks, I have a size 3-3.5 shoe size Amazon have the best socks I have ever had. Pk 2 pairs sized 2-5 which are designed for running so have wonderful foot support and proper shaping, called More Mile, 1 pr pink/whit/grey and the other pr blue/white/grey. They are the best I've ever worn as a sport sock. Happy shopping
I'm 5'1" and I run in H&M leggings and a Karrimor running top which I got from Sports Direct. I find these are a good fit for me, as like you, most things drown me!
If your local Sainsburys stocks running clothes they do short length bottoms. I just bought a Nike boyfriend style tee and it comes to my knees! So I feel your pain.
Marks have just started doing short leggings, as in well above the knee on average height people but just below the knee for me (5 footer)! My Adidas size 16 capri pants are also very very small (as in they look like they are a 12!), but luckily stretch over the wobbly thighs but then are the right length on me!
