Last week i completed week one had muscle pain which following the third run has now gone- I am enjoying the runs but find it quite hard - should I repeat week one or go to week two ? so question should I wait until the programme is easy before moving on?

Go for 2! If your muscle pain has gone. Its allowed to be hard, I'd say as long as you complete all the runs move on.

I've opted for an intermediary stage this week, I'm doing half the run at 90s/2mins intervals and the 2nd half at 60s/90s intervals.
Do you stretch out properly after your runs?

Go on to week 2, I felt exactly the same as you after my week one runs and was going to repeat week one but after reading other blogs decided to go straight to week 2, did my first week 2 run on Monday and found it easier than week one so glad I moved on and no muscle pain.
If you struggle you can always go back to week one.
Good Luck

Get onto week 2, that's how you are supposed to feel!
