so 2 weeks ago i started this and only managed 2 runs because of weather and silly excuses tbh! so today i decided on a fresh start making todays run week 1 run 1, just bk from it and BOY did i find it hard im actualy scared about fridays run now ... does it ever get any better? i actualy had to miss one of the runs because of a pain in my chest, i think i ran the first 4 runs too fast ... would this make sense?

Yes it makes perfect sense - slow down, you've got nothing to lose and maybe lots of motivation to gain by doing so. Slowing down was the best thing I did on this programme!

Everybody goes out too fast at first, none of us have any idea about pace or our own stamina levels. Slow it down a bit and you'll find you can get right through. Plenty of time to take the pace up again when you've finished the programme.

Take your time! As saint Laura of c25k podcasts says "distance over speed"
Yes it does get easier so persevere with it and trust in the programme

I agree i found the first three weeks very hard simply due to the fact i ran too fast, Laura advises you to slow down if you find it hard and she is right. Good luck with your next run.
