So, have done 2 of my 3 week 1 runs. Not really sure how I feel about it to be honest! When I first saw the c25k plan and it said run one minute, I thought Oh wow, that's not much, how wrong was I?! So, run one I went a bit crazy and the first 60 seconds I went full pelt straight out. Between 3rd and 4th rep I thought I was going to pass out and felt seriously sick and was about to go home but made myself finish and tough as it was it felt good. Stupidly I didn't cool down and the aches the next day were something else. BUT run 2 was a heck of a lot better and no aching the following day. I am currently waiting until my 3rd run, cannot do it for a couple of days as nobody to look after the littlun until Monday, but I'm itching to get out there
Have looked ahead and find the prospect of running a straight 20 minutes in a few weeks feels somewhere between impossible and an absolute killer, but will trust in the plan that it's doable so kinda looking forward to it...I am finding it very very hard to picture ME being able to do it still though...let's see in a few weeks

you'll do just fine and surprise yourself, take it steady and stop that looking/listening ahead nonsense lol take each run out as it comes, you are only dealing with them one at a time
Trust me stick with it and you'll feel yourself improve. I'm on week five and I've felt such an improvement. Nearly collapsed on week but it really does work. I have been exhausted and it's mentally difficult but if you push through and finish each run it feels great. Good luck
I think we all felt like that at the beginning, Best not to get caught up in future weeks, I used to keep it as a surprise !! All the best with your c25k journey
