Well as usuall I was busy worrying about week 3 before I started. Thank you to those who commented on my blog about what week 3 was like. They all said the same " have faith" . I must listen to this and try not to plan ahead too far, though can't imagine ever being the sort of person who doesn't need to know what to expect as she heads out the door for a run.
Anyway I survived the first run. I found the first 3 minutes ok but the second quite challenging, not sure I would have kept it going if my daughter hadn't been there to spur me on. Bit tired now and will enjoy the rest day before I tackle the next run.
Each week I have thought I wouldn't make it and each week I have, so here's to moving on from that old record of I don't think I am going to make it and hello to I think I can do this.

Every week is just about the right amount more testing than the week before - I have just completed week 5 and after my first week 1 'run' I would never have thought that I would have ran for 20 mins - keep faith in the programme and you WILL get there!!!!
I always listened to the next week's podcast the day before I was going to do it for the first time, just so I knew what to expect. I don't like surprises!
I don't do the podcasts. I do C25K but using the zen labs app. This just tells you when to run and walk, when you are halfway through, when you have 1 min left.
All this gets played over my own playlist so there's nothing different to listen to.
Chuckle, unlike Minuette I could not deal with looking/listening ahead 'yesihaveabanana' ( love that name lol) is also doing it as I've just commented on that post
Each to our own way of doing things I would just let each week turn up as it comes, that way you don't have to worry ahead and start the run worrying about not making it... Far better to surprise yourself and argue with self as the run progresses lol
