Hey!

I was wondering what sort of physical changes people had found doing this plan?

Weather you have changed anything else in your day to day life or not!

If so, what changes and weather or not you've changed other things too or just doing the plan?

Many thanks in advance! =) Xx

Physical changes for me have been:

toned legs and bum

smaller waist and hips

much lower body fat

better skin

I didn't change diet because it was already pretty healthy and I was only about a stone overweight before I started the podcasts. I do drink, but occasionally give that a complete break for a few weeks too, especially if I notice my weight creeping up again.

I have totally changed my life (apart from doh) in the past year and c25k is one of the most recent changes. A year ago I started lighterlife and have lost 10 stone so far with another 2 to go. I started gentle exercise when I started LL but recently found I wanted more hence c25k, also I wanted to run race for life this year as opposed to last years weeble stagger! To fit the funs in I now get up 2 hours earlier than before. I get to work earlier and home earlier and seem to have more time for myself. I should reach my goal reasonably soon then the hard part of keeping the weight off begins

Shapewise, everything is getter firmer but the biggest thing for me is my tummy is rapidly getting flatter. I could feel my tummy muscles complainging from week one rather than anywhere else which id fab as my tummy was my biggest problem.

Good luck and enjoy the plan

I've been doing this two weeks now and I've already noticed differences. I feel more confident & happy. My jeans feel (and look!) looser, by calf muscles are rock solid now and my thighs are getting toned up.

I've also lost a few pounds (4?) in the 2 weeks but then my diet hasn't been overly strict. The odd (ok several) chocolate biscuits at work, the odd beer etc.

People tell me I've lost weight, but I cannot yet tell. I'm on week 5 today. The biggest change for me is feeling immense pride in myself that I'm actually doing it and more importantly it's making me feel better about myself.

I'm only week 2 so can't report dramatic changes, however I have noticed that I seem to be making beter food choices and eating more fresh, energy-giving foods than beofre I started this.....hopefully that combination will lead to some weight loss in the long run too!!

............and I guess the need to talk about/read about anything c25k constantly goes without saying!!!

I graduated a week ago and am now doing 3 x 5k runs a week.

in around 10 weeks I have noticed the following

1 stone weight loss (most noticably fat from my midriff, other people say my face too)

stronger, firmer muscles in my legs

reduced appetite

heightened awareness of what food I put into my body

less desire to drink alcohol or to go to the pub

brighter eyes

smoother facial skin (a bonus for being a ribena berry face after a run!)

I cannot say anything about weight changes as I didn't use the scale the past weeks. Maybe lost a kilo or something.

But, a major change I've notices is in my mood.

Before I started running I was feeling down a lot, not getting out of the house much and being all lazy.

But not I'm looking forward to the runs and with them getting out in the morning. My bodyclock wakes me up at 6 am nowadays. I have to get up that time to go to work anyway, but on my days off I nearly get up at this time too to go running.

I now have much more use for my day, am feeling happier and much more relaxed. A few months ago I would never have thought that those few minutes of exercise a day can do that!

perceived loathing of running can be shown by just how many people sent me the hurrah for gin...

These times they are a changing!!!

then it all seemed to go to pot. I had a bout of sciatica but not too bad, then another leg injury...

The weather is changing

warmer months and I get very warm. I am wondering what clothing people wear once the temperatures...
