I will start week 2 tomorrow, would love to hear how someone else felt about the next step. I'm going come rain or shine, I actually ran my last run in the rain and really enjoyed it, just couldn't see where I was going as my glasses were so wet!

Good question, I completed week one today so will be due to start week two so am curious how people found it too :) I have yet to run in the rain though!

I started week 2 yesterday. As I was 3 minutes into my brisk walk the heavens opened! I was near enough to turn back home but I carried on. The canal path was really muddy. As I continued, I really got into it, I managed all the 90 sec runs with no problems at all. It was only 8.30am & it was just me & the ducks!

I really enjoyed it. Going again tomorrow. Good luck to you. :)

Enjoy, you can do it! W2 is still getting your body used to the idea of moving, a few extra minutes but worth every second as you get fitter.

I'm on W3, just going out to do R2 in an hour or so...just waiting for the brekkie to go down!

To be honest, so far I found week 2 the hardest. I'm 43 & am used to excercising but I was held up by aches and pains. My advice to you is this, if you're young and healthy you'll be fine but, if like me you feel the aches and pains, take more rest! We need to give our bodies time to get used to what's happening.

It has taken me 4 weeks to get to week 3 because I needed longer rest periods, I'm so glad that I listen to all the great advice on here because I think without it, I may have given up.

I'm happy to be still here and loving it! Good luck :)

Heading out on W2R1 in about 10 minutes - I'll let you know how it goes. Weather is horrid, but determined to go anyway. Will be running along the seafront on the south coast.

Hi Christ, lucky you running by the sea. I went out at about 9.30 to do the run, it went well helped by the route I took. Uphill for the first two runs down hill for the next two then flat. I was slightly caught out by the fifth repetition as I thought it was the last as Laura says you are nearly there then the music is quite slow and relaxing. I felt I could do another run and I was still quite far from home and was contemplating having another jog, then Laura says time for your final run. Luckily I felt I still had the energy to do it. But know I have done it now, feel a bit tired, my legs were a bit jelly when I finished. Let me know how you go. I will be doing my next run on tuesday.
