Shops that help with Running Shoe purchase

Just about to start week 2 and while I like the trainers I have, I have read about getting your run analysed to ensure you buy the best show to support you.

Any one recommend some sport shops that do this? I am in Swindon, Wiltshire if you know of any in that area.

Hi there.

Sweatshop/ Great Outdoors definitely do it...or google specialist running shops in your area? Or come to Southampton and have a good day out shopping!!!!!

I had it done at Up and Running but i'm not sure if there is one near you! It was really useful and definitely worth doing

They filmed my feet whilst I was running on a treadmill and I actually looked like a proper runner! I wish I hadn't worn stripy red socks but never mind :)

I used Sweatshop and found them really good :)

Well worth getting a decent pair of trainers, it makes a massive difference. I used Easy Runner in Bristol but there's bound to be a good specialist shop in the Swindon area. Imperative that you get a proper assessment and fitting - it can save a load of trouble.
