For some reason I was worried about run 1 today but went out in the wind and rain and ten minutes ago I did it! Then I promptly burst into tears and started thinking about my lovely Dad who died three years ago, and how proud he would be ( I was 22 stone when he died, now 12 stone), anyway I got over that and am now very happy and warm tucking into my porridge. Thank you everyone you have all spurred me on xx

Bless you, I'm sorry for your loss.

Ever heard Proud by JLS? Your post reminded me of that song.

I'm sure your Dad would be extremely proud of you.

Well done for having such strength :)

As a dad who gets emotional(!) about how proud he is of his grown-up kids, I have absolutely no doubt that yours will be jumping for joy in Heaven, telling all his mates about how well you've done and will continue to do.
