I did the second run of week 6 this evening and found it incredibly hard! In fact, if my daughters hadn't been with me I honestly would've stopped. I don't understand why I found it so hard - much, much harder than the 20 minutes from last week.
I am really worried about the 25 minutes now. Think I'll leave it until Monday rather than Sunday to give me a an extra day's rest.
Did anyone else find week 6 tough going?

Yes, I found it harder than the 20 minutes and I think other people did too. Don't worry, you'll be fine. Trust the program - there will be good runs and tough ones but you stuck at it and that proves your determination and is part of building stamina. I suspect that week 6 is a balance between recovering after the 20 minutes in week 5 while still being challenging enough to push you towards the next long run. It seems to work. Well done and good luck
I just did W6R1 today and found it a bit tough. Like you, I was a bit surprised to find the run harder than the 20 mins of W5R3 and I was slightly worried too! But like sfb350 said, just trust the program! If you managed to do the 20 minutes last week I'm sure you can make it through this week and do the 25 minutes at the end. Don't worry too much, just do your best! Good luck
I think it's quite common to find week 6 run 1 the hardest. I think I recall Laura saying it was her toughest run too. So you're in good company!
Keep going and as sfb said above, keep faith in the programme. It really does work - as I proved by graduating this morning despite a rubbish w6r1 for me too
Sorry, I've been an idiot. Just realised you were talking about w6r2. Doh. I blame the euphoria from this morning and not the celebratory glass or two...
