Week 6: COMPLETED!!! Although...

... wasn't easy.... Sweating a lot, as always - still little less than last week. Have run today 25 minutes non-stop.

I run on treadmill with a speed of 6km/h. Marching: 4 km/h.

I've noticed I recover much quickly

My physical condition is OK - it is improving.

But it is getting boring. I mean the music.

There is a mistake in the last podcast of week 6. Or...? Laura says it will be 25 minutes of running non-stop. But then there are 3 runs of 5 minutes interrupted with marching. This was confusing but I decided to stick to the 25-minutes of running.

Cannot see any significant change in my weight yet although some clothes don't fit me anymore :-) Body shape is getting better.

I have ordered a book yesterday. On running and weight losing. The title is not encouraging - "Run fat bitch! Run!" ;-) But what I need now is kind of easy approach. Otherwise I will become runnig fanatic and all my friends get tired of me constantly speaking on jogging ;-)))

Hahahaha! Love the title of the book! My husband has just read this too and decided that he is going to cycle behind me whilst I run, shouting those encouraging words!!! :-)

Well done on completing week 6. I am on run 2 of week 6 tonight.

Encouragement - that is what we all need :-))

Good luck with your tonight's run!

You're doing great.

I had my 10 year old with me on her scooter last night, I told her she could say motivational things......she giggled and said "move it fatty" lol she made me laugh. Though when she mentioned at the end how I was doing in the earlier weeks with a lap of the football pitch to now running 25 minutes I know she was proud, and that will forever spur me on.

I am sure she is proud of you :-)

My 18 year old is not that straight forward as yours ;-))))

Nevertheless I can see that my determination helps my daughter to avoid junk food and stick to some basic healthy lifestyle rules.

There is such a great improvement from week 1 up to the 6 - isn't it? It really makes my selfconfidence stronger :-)

Glad you're doing well!

Not sure what you mean about the mistake in the podcast though - I did W6R3 yesterday and the podcast seemed fine, 25 minutes of running straight through. Did you maybe get two weeks mixed up, or accidentally skip between tracks?

Yes, I have checked the original podcast and you are right - it is 25 minutes. Must be my mistake when saving the file ;-)
