Feeling down completed 16 minutes of the 20 min run and then had to walk home due to pain in lower calf (Achilles tendon i think) will rest a few day then try again

You can't help an injury, so try not to feel bad - easier said than done I know.

Take it easy, and I hope a little rest does the trick.

16 minute is a massive achievement bet when you started out you never thought you'd reach that far.

Well done for stopping rather than risking further although it must have been disappointing. When you've recovered you will smash it - if you did the 16 the 20 will be a piece of cake when you've regained your fitness. ;-)
