The 'F' is not allowed on this forum, but after running Saturday(R4), I would have been due to run on Monday, Monday morning check my health stats and they are the best they have been for a while, easyish day at work, got home and couldn't be bothered, Tuesday, really rough day at work and really physical, I was worn out, Wednesday came and got home late and needed to get fuel for the car, there goes another nights running! Today, I had decided not matter what I am running, so got home, got changed, warm up stretches down a class of juice and run. 3 days i failed to run. Moral of the story is things will always happen and times can be challenging, but make the time to run, it is easy to fall into bad habits and slip a few days and when every thing is at it best don't put it off.

W9 R5 how to fail!

Not a failure, a learning curve. Some days it's better to rest. Life intervenes, a hard (or even easy) day at work, domestic matters, just being under the weather the list goes on. Nobody is judging.
You ran today and you should feel pretty good about that
The runs we do are the important ones, not the ones we feel we 'should' have done. Today's run means you've run far more than most people have today, me included.

Blips happen... well done you!

Chalk it up to experience...
I'm in a difficult rut of not getting out for all of the runs that I'd like to do. Work, extracurriculars, weather...
Well done for getting out there...!

You got out though - and learned something valuable so not a fail in my book …

Well done on getting out there and running.
Something stood out for me in your post - "... down a class of juice and run."
Why the juice before you run?
One reason is to hydrate before the run, and the natural sugar for a bit of extra energy. Has to be the orange for me with the bits in, being diabetic it helps with the fibre and slows the absorption of sugars into the blood stream, also I have been adding Creatine recently, so hides that as well.

But sometimes a few extra non run days mean you run on fresh legs, sometimes you can run off a bad day sometimes you just need rest.
It’s easy to convince ourselves tomorrow will do. I have always found the days I think I don’t want to do any exercise are the best days to push myself.
Life gets in the way and sometimes can’t be helped but I have learnt over time that my own wellbeing is important and if I don’t get at least 30 minutes of some form of exercise in a day I become a grumpy old git 😂😊
