Well it's been a tough week at work, you know when you just want to say "I'm out of here" but without lotto that's not an option.
The saving grace for me has been my run nights, I just love running at the moment. I am still not fast or furious (except at work ) but R2 & 3 of W8 have been good in the sense I seemed to have found a comfortable pace that is quite constant and just allows me to run. I still don't have anything left to sprint in the last 60 sec but I have done 30 mins on all runs so hopefully in a good place for graduation week.
I hope everyone is having if not a good week at least an okay one. Happy running, we got this

Mmmm! W8 R1 went fine but last night R2, total failure! usually run on treadmill but gym was closed last night so thought I would try running on forest track, too hot, too hilly just couldnโt do it ! ending up walking and feeling very peed of with myself my bubble has burst feeling pretty deflatedโน๏ธ
I can't manage hills at all at the moment so I understand that. Its only one run and although I know I'd be peed (very polite) too you just pick up and head back to the gym. We are nearly there mairi, one practice run can't burst a bubble made up of so many completed runs. We can do this
I started running back in January I have refused to run in the sludgy snow , ice , wind , rain, red hot sunshine, it took me 16wks to graduate, ๐ But I got there ๐
Completely understand the work feeling - the current three weeks Iโm coming to the end of are my busiest each year.
Well done completing W8. Iโm determined to start it tomorrow morning but Iโm wiser than two weeks ago and Iโm not going to try to go to the end on alternate days like I was doing through W6 and W7. Iโll be a lap behind but pushing to the end!
Great to hear how much you are enjoying the running. I canโt wait to get back in the trainers.
