W7R1 a misty, moisty morning

Not much of a story to tell today - I ran it, which is story enough. I'm glad I did it early because now it is raining.

It was a little easier than the previous one and I did feel able to follow Mr Cram's advice to speed up for the last bit.

It was at the end of this week that, first time around, seven years ago, I felt emboldend to attempt a Park Run. I planned to run/walk but did actually finish it all at a run - in 40 minutes. I'm not sure how they time those at the back of the start line. From the sound of the hooter? Because it took me a couple of minutes at the back of the pack before I actually reached the start line.

Anyway, onwards we go.

And I'm wondering How Are Things in Buenos Aires? Cue for a song?

well done you beating the rain. I’m exactly a week behind you that’s jet lag- or at least that’s my excuse! As you asked about Buenos Aires

Don’t cry for me Argentina

The truth is I’ve already left you

Through my wild days and run persistance

I kept my promise and ran the distance

W6 R1 done this morning back in Italy - blue skies and sun as opposed to rain bombs and grey skies …

but it is 15 degrees here not 30…

You running over the weekend? I hope to on Sunday.👍

I'm now regretting not finishing my 'Oh what a circus' parody for your bidet saga.

Sunday is a possible. I'll see how I feel after work tomorrow. I'm happy to allow an extra recovery day if I feel it might benefit me. I haven't repeated any runs this time around though.

Welcome home.

Thanks I’m hoping to keep to the programme without repeating too, if all goes to plan aiming for an end March graduation , should have run yesterday but after the 14 hour flight and little sleep I figured it was better just to give in to tiredness instead and start afresh today. I’ve been caught out in W6 previously…

Oh what a circus sung by my erstwhile heartthrob David Essex…

Parody away - telling my mates the bidet saga and them telling me there’s an extra squirty tap that I had not spotted gave me a very giggly lunch. Thank goodness I never found that tap too otherwise i could have flooded the hotel!
