🤲🏽 Relieved to get W1 out of the way. Proved more tough than I remember last time out… a new route through the beautiful Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park helped, and quite apt to finish runs at this place outside the Copper Box Arena! Roll on W2… 😬

Well done for getting out there again! It can feel a strange experience repeating C25k…I should know, not long repeated for the 3rd time!

The main thing is that having gone through it once, you know it works, so trust the programme!

However, I would suggest that (apart from the knowledge that you can do it), you forget about your previous experience, and run this as a total newbie.

Have you refreshed your memory with our guide to running C25k? I’ve put the link in here…

healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

I first graduated in 2020, and the main thing I’ve noticed is that each time I’ve got slower…it’s a common effect of age, so don’t have expectations of finishing this with a 30 minute 5k…so few of us achieve that!

Can I also point you in the direction of our Strength and Flex sister site, so useful in supporting your running…

healthunlocked.com/strength...

So take it slow, hydrate, stretch and enjoy! Keep us posted on your progress!

Thank you for your advice and links. Will look into those. Definitely noticing the effects of age so more than happy to go slow… especially first few weeks!
