I ought to have been running this morning but I am seriously achey after some serious gardening yesterday so gave it a miss. I don't want to risk pulling or straining anything. Tomorrow I have work and already have to get up at 6 and I'm not planning to run in the pitch black so Sunday it will have to be.

Not today
The run will still be there on Sunday 😁You're very sensible to listen to the messages your body is giving you. An extra day of rest will do you good.
As with the first reply listen to your body, I am doing similar with my fitbit. I have been working in the yard at work for 4hrs + when normally desk bound, so my 'readiness ' for exercise as it is on my watch has been a god send. When I saw my diabetic nurse at my last check up she suggested re starting c25k again, even if it is just once a week! But have decided on doing it as per the c25k but will take extra day or so between runs if needed. Everyone is different and our bodies may take a bit longer to recover so yes take the extra time and don't worry about the gaps they are still important.
