well 3 minutes was certainly a step up! The first run was pretty hard to get through the 3intervals but we got there. The second was great in that I think I’ve cracked breathing *touches wood*. But my legs felt weird today, kinda heavy and not my own. My lower back also felt increasingly tight. I have been doing stretches beforehand but I’ve found a new stretching video so I’ll give that a shot for the next run. I think the runs may be starting to tire nugget though, she’s not wanting to chase her torch in the evening anymore. But she has also taken up golf with Grandpaw on rest days. Random question, does anyone else get dry mouth when ruining? I say I’ve cracked breathing *touches more wood* I cannot breathe through my nose when running it makes me feel like I’m suffocating. Any suggestions?

week 3 run 1&2
Well done for getting this far 😁, I'll give you a few tips that helped me and hopefully others will add theirs.Dry mouth, I usually have a sweet in my mouth, if it's hot in the summer or I'm running for a long time I take a small bottle of water or squash to sip every so often.
Heavy legs can be dehydration, runners do need to drink plenty of water every day, not just running days .
Enjoy your runs, and it sounds like Nugget is enjoying them too.
Well done you... and maybe head across to the S and F forum for some useful stretching ideas...

and YWA... she does a great lower back exercise session...
Terrific job! Week 3 almost in the bank.
Are you hydrating before your runs? Agree with SAR and take some water with you.
Let us know how your new stretches work. Sounds like Nugget has a very busy social calendar...
