Hello folks, I thought I would slip a post in for a change rather than just reading them. I started c25k with all good intentions as do we all, many set backs later ( I say set backs, if I'm honest excuses), I have beaten my nemesis and progressed passed wk5. It's been a journey I surprised myself with on many an occasion, very pleased to have got this far and now I have shown myself I can do it I'm determined to graduate. Being able to drop in and read other stories has really helped, it can really lift the spirits when you're feeling a bit defeated. So heres to pushing on and getting to that final run.

Well done, you got past week 5 and you are a runner! Week 6 can be a bit of a shock but you've made it this far and soon you will be running for 25 minutes 👏👏👏

Thanks for the support guys. I feel you are right. The first run of wk6 is a real eye opener, you think it will be easy after the 20 minute effort of wk5r3. How wrong could I be with that, it is a tough one to do. Challenge is a good thing though so bring it on 🤘

This is such a great post to read. Congratulations on everything you’ve achieved so far…you’ve got many milestones ahead of you so get ready for some more celebrations!

Running is brilliant. It’s not just the physical side of it, but mentally is shows us we’re so much tougher than we think we are. That’s amazing.

Enjoy the rest of the programme. Before you know it you’ll be a graduate!!

PS: week 6 is a bit of a nemesis for many people..,you might like to add your experience to our thread about it here…
