A very confusing run Wk6 R1

The run started off ok, my knee felt okish and my cold has just about gone. I said buongiorno to Laura, put her in my bum bag and set of walking. I took my phone out to snap a pic of the poppies and Laura said Are you ready for your run. I quickly put my phone away and set off.

Halfway through the second song of the run I started to wonder where Laura was. during the beginning of the third song I was really quite concerned. I dug in my bum pack (still running) and found my phone. Laura had paused the program and gone off for a cappuccino!!!!

Hmm! I decided to forward her to the next walking part and checked my other app which said I had run for 7 minutes.

The rest of the run went without any further problems.

As you guys said, the run is quite hard and I tried to pace myself. I also took a slightly different route to avoid the long grass.

This is the first run in a while that I feel contented with. I am once again looking forward to my next run.

Ok a quick shower and then I am off to teach the little chilblains at the school, fortunately today it is a nice school with good teachers and kids.

Thanks old floss, I don’t work on Thursday mornings so it is a perfect time to run.

We have thousands of poppies growing here. Although I can’t get them to grow i. my garden.

My dad used to grow them - here in England. He was really green-fingered though - unfortunately I didn't inherit that! Oh well......

I have tried scattering the seeds, digging up big bits of earth with poppies in.. nothing

Love poppies! I struggled with that run so well done for getting through it.

They are very beautiful. It would be a nicer run if there were fewer hills

Yes even the slightest incline can look/feel like a mountain 🙈

I am surprised there isn’t snow on the top of it 😂
