Hi All. I cannot believe I am onto WK7 R3. I can't wait to get my badge! I am probably the most unfit and inconsistent person to ever have tried this program so reaching week 7 is just wild! Unfortunately, W9 I will be on a work mission in South Africa and would rather use the treadmill as I do not know the area well enough to run outside in the early morning and late evening. Any tips on this? Do I just get on the treadmill and run 30 mins?
Another question. I sometimes get heavy/tired legs. Not when running and not necessarily on after running but just at home day to day, going upstairs etc. Is there something I should be doing to help that? Otherwise I am really enjoying it all!

hi RunningMoo ..absolute fantastic..your progress and the happiness coming through your post is an inspiration..
Yes, just run for the amount of time, 30 mins for week 9, I think you’ll find it very different from running outside…
Achy legs is normal..making sure you’re stretching before & after & drinking plenty of water will help..don’t forget, even though you’re so far into the programme this is all new for your body & it’s still getting used to it…probably using muscles that haven’t been used for a while? There’s lots of good ideas here..
It's been forever since I used a treadmill but I seem to remember that you could program in differing levels of difficulty. The machine will alter the gradient, mimicking slopes. You could ask the treadmill owner/gym person whether the machine does this to make the run more interesting.Have a fantastic holiday 😁
🍏🙌 So well done…you really are on the home stretch now. Very wise to be thinking about safety on your travels! Lots of advice here about running on a treadmill. If you away 2 weeks or less you won’t lose any fitness and will be able to continue your outdoor runs once you are home. However I would take Oldfloss advice & do some strength & flex to keep supple. Enjoy South Africa! It’s very beautiful 🤩
